African Competitions League: Mixed Results For Cameroonian Clubs

Out of the three Cameroonian representatives only New Stars Douala and Coton Sport of Garoua are still in the various championships.

UMS of Loum have been booted out of the CAF Champions League after they were beaten by Lobi Stars of Markurdi 2-0 on Wednesday December 5, 2018 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu in their second qualification match for the 2019 CAF Champions League. Despite intense preparations by the team they were unable to stand the wrath of the Nigerians. Lobi Stars goals were scored by Sikiru Alimi (14th minute) and Yaya Kone (69th minute) on penalty. This put Lobi Stars on a 2-1 aggregate thus putting an end to race for UMS Loum.  In the away leg UMS of Loum beat Lobi Stars 1-0 on November 28, 2018 at the Yaounde Military Stadium.
