2020-2030 National Dev't Strategy : Outlines Explained To NW Stakeholders

Visiting Minister Paul Tasong on November 2, 2021 inspired the population to embrace and share strategy for structural transformation and inclusive development.

The National Development Strategy 2020-2030 (NDS30), a reference framework for action by the government and its development partners has been explained and cheered in Bamenda with the Minister Delegate at the Ministry of the Economy, Planning and Regional Development, Paul Tasong urging the population to embrace and share the strategy which enhances conditions favourable for economic growth.
The visiting Minister Delegate told development stakeholders that the strategy captures the private sector as the main driver of development with the commitment of the government to create and accumulate wealth through the private sector. Minister Paul Tasong stressed that structural transformation and inclusive development can only be achieved through industrialization. A team of experts who accompanied the Minister Delegate edified participants at the Bamenda workshop on the merits, goals and challenges of the NDS30.
The strategy is built on the pillars of structural transformation of the economy, development of human capital and well being, promotion of employment and economic integration governance.
