2022 Mount Cameroon Race of Hope : Competition Slated For February 19

The population of Buea in the South West Region will be welcoming the 2022 Mount Cameroon Race of Hope on February 19, 2022. The information is contained in the 2021/2022 athletics calendar which was published on November 16, 2021.  The 2021 Mount Cameroon Race Of Hope was won by Ali Mohammadou and Mildred Kitan. The international competition which is organised by the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education and the Cameroon Athletics Federation has for several years proven to be one of the most prestigious mountain races in Africa.  
Apart from the Mount Cameroon Race of Hope, the 2021/2022 Athletics Calendar indicates that seminars to train trainers ahead of the major competitions are already underway. The calendar equally reveals that Track competitions will begin on February 2022 with the First School and Youth Meeting. The first national interclub meeting for all categories has been slated for same month. The CAA Grand Prix is equally expected to begin on March 2022 followed by some interclub meetings.
