CAF C Coaching License: Over 25 Women Undergo Training

The exercise which ran for 21 days at the CAF Excellence Centre in Mbankomo ended on December 21, 2021.

The National Technical Directorate of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) has successfully organised a CAF (Confederation of African Football) Licence C training course for female coaches. The training which ran from December 1 to 21, 2021 at the CAF Excellence Centre in Mbankomo brought together some 29 former Indomitable Lionesses and Sports and Physical Education teachers.

The training batch baptised “License CAF Samuel Eto'o” was supervised by CAF instructor Clémentine Touré. All the participants were successful with an average of more than or equal to 12. The Best student of the batch is Jacqueline Nsim, with an average of 17. This training, it should be said, comes to steam up the CAF licencing system that was suspended in Cameroon for over five years. Worth mentioning is the fact that 30 women were shortlisted for the training but one fell sick and could not pursue the course.
