Women Football : Preparations For New Season Ongoing

Preparations for the takeoff of the 2021-2022 season are underway at the Cameroon Women’s Championship called Guinness Super League. In this light, a preparatory meeting took place at the headquarters of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) in Yaounde on Wednesday March 2, 2022. The meeting between club presidents and FECAFOOT officials was presided over by the First Vice President of FECAFOOT in the company of the Secretary General of the Women’s Football League, Pauline Thérèse Manguele. 
The purpose of the meeting was to chart the way forward for the next football season. During the meeting, the members announced that women’s first division championship will kick off on March 26, 2022 as declared by the time chart of competitions published by the General Secretariat of Cameroon Football Federation. In the same document, it is stated that the women’s Second Division championship will be launched on April 9, 2022.
