U23 AFCON Qualifiers : Cameroon-Angola On Sunday

The Olympic Lions will play against Angola in the second leg qualifier in Yaounde on Sunday October 30, 2022.

The U23 men’s national football team will play against Angola in the second leg qualifier against the U23 Palancas Negras of Angola on Sunday October 30, 2022 at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaounde. Ahead of the encounter, preparations have heightened in the team. The head coach, Guy Feutichine has brought in midfielder, Eno Brandon Yves into the squad. The coach brought the player after watching the player during match between Coton Sport of Garoua and Colombe of Dja and Lobo on Wednesday October 26, 2022 at the Yaounde Ngoa-Ekelle Stadium. The match ended on a 0-0 tie. Eno Brandon joined the U23 Lions camp shortly after the game. He has become the fourth player from Coton Sport of Garoua who will be expected to bring added impetus to the team. 
The other Coton sport players in the team are Kaiba Djawal who scored against Angola in Luanda together with defender Goni Ali and Wassou Goue Patient. The 19-ear-old midfielder came through the Coton Sport football Academy and has been part of the first team in the past two seasons.  The other new players in the group are Young Sports Academy goalkeeper, Ekoi Manfred Mekumba and Moustapha Hadji of Gazelle FA of Garoua as new players Coach Guy Feutchine has added to the squad.
