53-year-old Paulo Bento will lead the South Korean Men’s senior national team to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. The Portuguese trainer joined the team in 2018 and his first challenge was to qualify South Korea for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. This has been attained and he now has the daunting task to lead the team to an honourable performance in Qatar. Bento recently released his 26-man final squad for the competition featuring injured Tottenham Hotspur star forward Son Heung-min. The trainer is counting on his experience and the comprehension of this squad to stand tall in the World Cup.
