China : African Media Professionals Drilled On Wine Making

Participants of the Seminar on Young Media Professionals For African Countries organized by the China Radio and TV Corporation for International Techno-Economic Cooperation visited a wine production factory on September 22, 2023. It was the Dong Feng Factory in Shaanxi Province. 
The participants were welcomed to the premises by the CEO, Wang Qing Ning who briefly explained the wine production process through a translator starting from the harvesting of the grape fruits, its preparation, fermentation right up till the ageing and packaging. He underlined that ageing is very important in the process because the older the wine, the better the quality. After the brief explanation, the CEO led a guided-tour of the factory. 
What caught the attention of the participants was an underground cave they got into. The first comment was that the place is very cold. Empty bottles of wine were stacked at the entrance but going deep, the participants saw several filled bottles inserted in holes dug on the walls of the underground cave.
