North West : Grand Chancellor Yang Joins CPC Bali Celebrations

The ex-students of the Cameroon Protestant College (CPC) Bali during celebrations marking the 75 years of its existence pledged to build befitting Multipurpose Hall

The renowned Cameroon Protestant College, CPC Bali is 75 years old. The institution celebrated its 75th anniversary together with the golden Jubilee of its alumni, The Bali Old Boys Association, BOBA on March 23, 2024 in Bali. 
The occasion brought together great personalities both home and abroad. The institution has produced great personalities in Cameroon one of whom is Former Prime Minister and the current Grand Chancellor of National Orders Philemon Yang who graduated in 1966.  Also present at the ceremony were great personalities such as North West Governor Adolphe Lele Lafrique, some cabinet Ministers, among others.
Speaking during the ceremony, the principal of the Institution Nubed Ransom saluted the efforts of the Bali Old Boys Association known as BOBA who worked tirelessly with the administration to make the event memorable. He outlined a series of the benefits of belonging to the institution. He also made mention of some of the challenges the school has been facing recently ranging from, “request for high salaries by qualified teachers, facelift for structures, suffering locked down like many other schools in the region, the computer laboratory tampered with and the auditorium blown down by wind.” Before the ongoing security crisis, the school used to have an enrollment of above a thousand but now has 315 students.
