Yaounde Gynaeco-Obstetric and Paediatric Hospital : Dr Che Kingsley Soh On Duty

49-year-old Dr Che Kingsley Soh has been called to restore the image of the Yaounde Gynaeco-Obstetric and Paediatric Hospital as a major healthcare structure in the country while strengthening discipline and rigour. The call was made by the Minister of Public Health, Malachie Manaouda, on December 4, 2024 in Yaounde as he commissioned the new General Manager of the hospital appointed by a Presidential Decree of November 25, 2024.
Prior to his appointment, Dr Che Kingsley Soh was the North West Regional Delegate for Public Health, a position he occupied since September 2017. While commissioning the new General Manager, Minister Malachie Manaouda, speaking in the presence of other government ministers, members of the diplomatic corps and a jubilant crowd from the North West Region, particularly people from the Mbatu village, origin of Dr Che Kingsley Soh, said he must work towards building the confidence of patients that come to the hospital while finding the most appropriate means of making the health facility an excellent pool in management and healthcare in the fields of gynaecology, paediatric, oncology amongst others. Minister Malachie Manaouda said this was to reduce the evacuation of patients abroad.
