Limbe Port Authority : Egyptian Investors To Support Project

The consortium GIECO/EGAAD who expressed interest to invest in the construction of development infrastructure of the port were received by the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute yesterday.
Within the framework of collaborating with partners for the achievement of set objectives in the National Development Strategy 2030, the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute yesterday December 11, 2024 received a consortium of Egyptian investors who have expressed the desire to partner with the government to finance and construct development infrastructure of the Limbe Port Authority. The Egyptian consortium of GIECO/EGAAD led by its financial partners Amr Mekawy, Commercial Director and Board Member of EGAAD had a working session with the delegation of LIPID (Limbe Port and Industrial Development Cooperation) led by Jacob Tche, Director General of LIPID. The objective of the audience granted the managers of this integrated engineering company, specialized in the construction of ports in Egypt was to see how the two parties can collaborate in the construction of some facilities of the port. The Limbe Port project represents heavy strategic and economic values for Cameroon and the government is determined to see the project succeeds, reason for its collaboration with foreign partners.
