Lifesaving Activities : NGO Empowering Women In Diverse Domains

Due to the armed conflict that started in 2017 in the North West and South West Regions, most women and girls were displaced, abused, raped and their human rights violated. The fate of these women became unknown. In its plight to achieve one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the Non-Governmental Organisation; Building Together Cameroon (BTC) began carrying out several lifesaving activities which have empowered a great number of women with skills, start-ups capital, agricultural empowerment and mentorship. 
The Executive Director and Founder of Building Together Cameroon, Endouh Anna Yerimah says she is out to build a legacy on bridging gaps and creating opportunities for women and communities across Cameroon and beyond. Being a passionate leader with over 15 years of experience dedicated to empowering women, transforming lives and driving economic growth, Anna Yerimah through BTC has championed agriculture as a powerful driver of economic prosperity for women in Cameroon and Beyond. 
BTC has equipped adolescent girls, single mothers, and internally displaced women with skills in farming, business, leadership etc. These activities have not only impacted the lives of the targeted audience but have also brought changes to their family’s lifestyle, living standards and in communities as a whole within the Centre, North West, South West, East and West Regions of the country. BTC has impacted the lives of many women and young girls through activities such as liquid soap production, beads making, peanuts, chips, chin-chin, puff-puff marketing, fruits juice transformation, huckleberry, okra, green, waterleaves, bitter leaves, maize and plantains farming.
