Building Economic Council : Imposing Multipurpose Tower

Impressive in appearance, appealing to the eyes and classic in manner. That is how best the head office complex of the Economic and Social Council of Cameroon, located at the Mballa II neighbourhood in Yaounde can be described. It was inaugurated on March 6, 2025 by the president of the Economic and Social Council, Ayang Luc, on behalf of the President of the Republic. After the inauguration, officials had a tour of the structure to better appreciate its looks and furniture. The complex has three main buildings.  
The tower building is a V-shaped 12-story edifice, constructed on a surface area of approximately 12,000 metres square. The main building is indeed a tower structure, going by its height and characteristics. It contains two large committee rooms with 75 seats each, four medium-sized committee rooms with 57 seats each and a board room. The head office complex has 260 offices, an infirmary, a library, media library and a printing house. Its restaurants are located at the garden floor. The office of the President of the Economic and Social Council, members of the institution, the Secretary General and those services directly attached to the institution are found in the tower building. All engineers and technicians said to have participated in the construction of the building are Cameroonians. There is an internal as well as an external parking space that has the capacity of containing 200 cars.  
Besides the tower building is a pyramidal-shaped roof building that covers a surface area of 1,900 square metres. It is said to be the hemicycle of the complex. It has a capacity of 350 seats. Going by a video projection at the inauguration ceremo...
