Star Building : Prime Minister Receives Zambian Special Envoy

The Prime Minister Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute on March 21, 2025 received in audience the special envoy of the President of Zambia, the Board Chair of the Zambian Revenue Authority, Caleb Fundanga. He was bearer of a sealed message from President Hakainde Hichilema to his Cameroonian peer. The Zambian national also presented to the Prime Minister, the country’s candidate for the position of President of the African Development Bank, whose election is slated for May 29, 2025 in Côte d’Ivoire.  
In his declaration to the press, Caleb Fundanga who has visited the towns of Douala and Limbe on different official missions to Cameroon, noted that his country admires the diversify of Cameroon. On the objective of his current visit to the Star Building, he said, “I delivered a letter from the President of the Republic of Zambia, Hakainde Hichilema to the Prime Minister. 
We talked about how we admire the progress made by Cameroon, especially in the field of diversification. Myself, I have visited Cameroon so many times, I have been to Limbe, Douala and other places. So I have seen what is happening and it has always been very impressive from our point of view,” Caleb Fundanga stated. 
The Zambian official who accompanied by the country’s candidate for the position of President of the African Development Bank, Dr. Samuel Munzele Maimbo, who is currently the Vice President for Budget, Performance Review and Strategic Planning of the World Bank.
