Cameroon-DR Congo : Reviewing, Prospecting Cooperation Ties

External Relations Minister, Mbella Mbella and Ambassador Busaka Muteba Kashadile held discussions to that effect on March 28, 2025.

The Minister of External Relations, Mbella Mbella and the Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Busaka Muteba Kashadile on March 28, 2025 reviewed bilateral cooperation between the two countries with the objective of improving them for the wellbeing of their respective people. The audience served as an opportunity for both parties to agree on revamping bilateral relations between Yaounde and Kinshasa as championed by the Presidents of Cameroon and the Democratic Republic of Congo. It was also a moment to evaluate the path covered by the Ambassador at the helm of the diplomatic mission in fostering political, economic, social and cultural relations between the two countries. 
Speaking to the press after the over an hour audience, Ambassador Busaka Muteba Kashadile said he exchanged on several aspects of improving bilateral relations with the Minister whom he described as being experienced in diplomacy and also his superior commander in the domain. Given that they last met on August 8, 2023, the Ambassador added that it was thus a time to take stock of the state of cooperation ties. The Head of Mission was unfortunately involved in an accident and with Minister Mbella Mbella being the immediate boss of diplomats accredited to Cameroon, it was equally an occasion for the later to physically appreciate the appearance of the former after the sad incident.
