U17 AFCON : Knockout Stage Begins

The 15th edition of the U17 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco has reached a decisive stage. The quarterfinals will kick-off today April 10, 2025. After the group stage, all is now set for the quarterfinals. Eight best youth teams in the competition that have also qualified for the FIFA U17 World Cup will be vying for spots in the semi-finals. Burkina Faso finished with outstanding performance in the group stage, The Little Stallions of Burkina Faso are first in Group B with three victories after three games. 
They will open the quarterfinals competition today April 10, 2025 when they take on Zambia at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca. The second game will pit hosts, Morocco against the Amajimbos of South Africa at the El Bachir Stadium in Mohammedia at 8:00pm. The Moroccans who have good home support will be seeking to maintain momentum. The Atlas Lionesses of Morocco finished first in group A with seven points; two victories and one draw. The Amajimbos on their part will be out to turn the tables given their good attacking skills during the group stage and move on to the semi-finals. Tomorrow April, 11, 2025, Tunisia will play against Mali at the El Jadida Stadium at 8:00 pm. It will be a clash of two top teams in the competition.
