Commonwealth, Trade Investment Summit : Promoting Business Ventures Through Networking

The Minister Delegate to the Minister of External Relations in charge of Cooperation with the Commonwealth, Felix Mbayu led the Cameroonian delegation to the meeting.

The Commonwealth Trade and Investment Summit, recently hosted by the Lord Mayor of London that held on April 7-8, 2025 witnessed the participation of Cameroon. The Minister Delegate to the Minister of External Relations in charge of Cooperation with the Commonwealth, Felix Mbayu, led the Cameroonian delegation to the high-level meeting.  
The two-day summit which brought together delegates from all the 56 member States of the organisation, afforded them an opportunity to promote trading relations and business ventures through networking, panel and roundtable discussions within the context of shifting geopolitics in the world.
The summit was chaired by Lord Marland of Odstock, Head of the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council, who reminded delegates that the institution’s greatest strength is its ability to convene to foster trading relationships by reducing barriers in order to sustain its crucial role of creating growth within the global economic climate. The panel and roundtable discussions that followed at the heels of the plenary opening session were fully exploited by the Minister Delegate to the Minister of External Relations in charge of Cooperation with the Commonwealth, Felix Mbayu and the Minister Delegate at Ministry of the Economy, Planning and Regional Development in charge of Planning, Paul Tasong.
