National FENASSCO League B Games : Battle For Medals Intensifies

The National FENASSCO League B Games, yesterday April 15, 2025, entered the third day with athletes competing in the different playing grounds spread across the city of Limbe. The Limbe Community Field hosted volleyball girls and boys as well as wrestling boys and girls. The legendary Limbe Centenary Stadium had football boys while football girls took place at the SONARA School field. Athletic competitions took place at the Limbe Omnisport Stadium at Ngeme.
As for the volleyball boys match at the Limbe Community Field, the North Region defeated Far North by 2 sets to 0 given that it has to with children. Then in the female category, the West Region outplayed the South West by 2 sets to 0.  
For wrestling in the male category, Nduninyi from the Centre Region won gold while Dopa Bell from the South Region earned silver. Mbangala from the East Region grabbed bronze. In the 48kg female category, Aranga from the North won gold. Dali Fatou from the North West went for Silver while Masumbe from the South West settled for bronze. Officials in charge of wrestling at the Games said the performance had been encouraging and that no incident was recorded.
