Ngannou’s PFL Africa : Preparations Heighten Ahead of Launch

An open workout was held on June 25, 2025, at the Champions Academy RDC Gym in Kinshasa, Congo.

To ensure a mouth-watering launch of the Professional Fighters League Africa, Cameroon’s Francis Ngannou, chairman of the division, and all other stakeholders on board are making every detail a priority. It is against this backdrop that an open workout was held on June 25, 2025, at the Champions Academy RDC Gym in Kinshasa, Congo. It should be noted that the grandiose event is less than a month away, with athletes and the entire Mixed Martial Arts family set to meet on July 19, 2025, in Cape Town, South Africa.
The fighters thus have very limited time to make final touches to their preparations. The open workout at the Champions Academy RDC Gym in Kinshasa, Congo was thus a wonderful opportunity. It featured Nigeria’s Juliet Ukah and South Africa’s Ceileigh Niedermayr. The two PFL Africa fighters are expected to meet in a Showcase Women’s Strawweight bout at PFL Cape Town. In a public training session, the two proficient female fighters gave an aperçu of what will happen in Cape Town to the fans and media who thronged the Champions Academy RDC Gym in Kinshasa.
