Table Tennis Cup of Cameroon : IUG, Dewey Lift Trophies

The warm up room of the Multipurpose Sports Complex in Yaounde was the venue of the 2025 edition of Table Tennis Cup of Cameroon on Saturday, June 21, 2025. Organised by the Cameroon Table Tennis Federation (FECATENNIS), the competition brought together the best teams from across the country. The competition unfolded in the senior men's, senior women’s and veterans’ categories. The Cup of Cameroon finals was equally an opportunity for experts in the discipline to detect new talents. 
The teams competed against each other in a direct knockout format. In the men’s final Dewey Table Tennis Club of Yaounde the University of the Gulf of Guinea (IUG) 3-0. In the women’s final, IUG Table Tennis Club of Douala beat Top Spin of Buea 3-1. In the veterans’ category, Apong Teo Table Tennis Club of Yaounde outplayed Canon Table Tennis Club of Yaounde 3-2. The President of the Cameroon Table Tennis Federation, Alfred Bagueka Asobo said the final was highly competitive given the massive turnout of the teams. He said the presence of international experts also makes the organisation of the competition more professional. He explained that Cameroon will participate in international competitions notably the Central African Championship in Brazzaville from June 27 to 29, 2025.
