Cameroon-Burundi : New Ambassador In Office

Major General Mwamba Ntirampeba Agricole handed the advance copies of his letters of credence to Minister Felix Mbayu on July 16, 2025.
The newly designated Ambassador of Burundi to Cameroon, with residence in Kinshasa, Mwamba Ntirampeba Agricole, has presented the advance copies of his accreditation documents to the Minister Delegate to the Minister of External Relations in charge of Cooperation with the Commonwealth, Felix Mbayu. This was during an audience the Minister granted the Ambassador on July 16, 2025.
Mwamba Ntirampeba Agricole who is a military official with the rank of Major General, was appointed on April 5, 2022 to the position of Ambassador of Burundi to Cameroon with residence in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. Prior to his appointment as the Head of Mission, he was Special Advisor at the Civil Cabinet of the Head of State, Presidency of the Republic of Burundi, a position he occupied from November 9, 2012 to April 4, 2022. For close to a year, (October 2011 to June 2012), Major General Mwamba Ntirampeba Agricole was the President of the Commission of Experts for the Intelligence and Security Services of the member States of the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR) for the establishment of the Joint Intelligence Fusion Center (JIFC) of these States, based in Goma. Between April 2008 and November 2012, he served as Chief of Staff at the General Administration of the National Intelligence Service of the Presidency of the Republic of Burundi.
