Cameroon-Canada : High Commissioner Bids Farewell

Lorraine Janel Anderson was received bv the Prime Minister, Joseph Dion Ngute yesterday July 22, 2025 as she has come to the end of her diplomatic assignment in Cameroon.
Having spent about three years in Cameroon as the Canadian High Commissioner to Cameroon, Lorraine Janel Anderson, who has come to the end of her diplomatic assignment in Cameroon was at the Star Building to bid farewell to the Prime Minister Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute. She was thus accorded a farewell audience on July 22, 2025.
The two personalities reviewed cooperation between Cameroon and Canada, focusing on the achievements of the High Commissioner during her tenue. In her declaration to the press after the audience, the Canadian diplomat said she came to say goodbye to the Prime Minister and express her gratitude to the government for the collaboration she received from authorities. “I am very pleased to have the opportunity to say goodbye to the Prime Minister. I had such a fruitful mandate in Cameroon. When we look at the various sectors of collaboration, we notice increased engagements in trade and investment. The level of our investments in international and humanitarian aid has also increased. We are happy to be the sixth largest donor in Cameroon. We hope that we can continue in this regard and I will always carry Cameroon in my heart,” Lorraine Janel Anderson stated.
