Post-electoral Violence : Community Leaders As Peace Ambassadors

The call was made by the Governor of the Littoral region on Monday November 3, 2025.

The Governor of the Littoral region, Samuel Dieudonné Ivaha Diboua, has called all community heads from the 10 regions of Cameroon residing in Douala to promote peace and encourage their communities to maintain harmony. This was during a meeting on Monday November 3 in Douala. During the meeting, the Governor emphasized that peace is essential for the growth of any country. He urged the leaders to reject hate and embrace unity and coexistence.
Governor Ivaha Diboua highlighted the importance of educating community members, especially the youth, to avoid engaging in the destruction of both private and public property.
