Adamawa : Hiram Iyodi Rounds Off Campaign

During his campaign tour, the dynamic CDF candidate promised to give full powers to locally elected officials if voted come October 12.
It took just three days to send through his message and conquer voters in the Adamawa Region. The energetic Cameroon Democratic Front (CDF), candidate Hiram Samuel Iyodi braved the odds to meet his militants in Mbe, Ngaoundere, Mbere and Telo all in Vina Division. At every stop, the 37- year-old delivered a message of re-assurance and hope to the population that turn out en masse. At the University of Ngaoundere, the CDF, flag bearer presented his party’s vision for Cameroon if voted come October 12. To the CDF candidate, if voted, he would focus on governance that would give back all powers to the locally elected Communes and Regions, in a federalist model in which elected officials in Communes and Regions will have all the tools and be the one to manage. With this model, people in the Adamawa Region will henceforth not depend on Yaounde for decisions on how to fast track development in their different areas. They will have full control of their funds and infrastructure.
In a one-to-one discussion with business people, administrative officers and the youths, the CDF campaign team presented strategies on how to curb unemployment, provide electricity and potable water.
