North West : Bum Stands Up For Bello Bouba

The National Union for Democracy and Progress, UNDP party on October 3, 2025 held its first rally for the October 12, presidential election.

“For 28 years, Bum has stood faithfully with the CPDM. But what have we received in return? No electricity! No clean water! No roads! Not a single son or daughter appointed to any meaningful position! While other communities reap the fruits of development, Bum continues to suffer in neglect. We work hard, but others enjoy the benefits,” Dr Yunji Wilson Yai, the National Union for Democracy and Progress, UNDP Coordinator for Boyo Division on October 3, 2025 led his party supporters to chant.
This was during the party’s first rally in Bum Subdivision, Boyo Division of the North West Region. As UNDP supporters and members in Bum get set for the presidential poll on October 12, 2025. According to Dr Yunji and Prince Tam Yai, the UNDP Communication Secretary for Boyo, it is time the people of Bum gave the UNDP and its presidential candidate, Bello Bouba  Maigari, a chance.
