East Region : Paul Biya Assured

In a mega rally in Bertoua on October 6, 2025, chaired by Prime Minister Joseph Dion Ngute, CPDM sympathisers said they have never and will not betray the Party’s Chairman at the polls.
"Paul Biya is the East, the East is Paul Biya." That is the campaign slogan of the party sympathisers of the Cameroon People's Democratic Movement (CPDM) in the East Region. A mega rally held in Bertoua on October 6, 2025 and was chaired by Prime Minister, Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute.
In his statement at the meeting, the Prime Minister said as a messenger of President Paul Biya, Chairman of the CPDM, the region occupies a great place in the heart of the Head of State. After citing projects realised in the region, he announced vast projected programmes in the water and energy, mines and road sectors. He explained that mines will be exploited for mutual benefits. For road rehabilitation, the stretch Ayos-Garoua Boulai through Abong-Mbang -Bertoua is in the pipeline. Education, tourism and forestry are other sectors Joseph Dion Ngute said will be improved. He concluded that the East Region is not a place for political tourism as the population has always shown their commitment to the CPDM and its Chairman.
For the Head of the East Regional Campaign Team, Joseph LE, it is Paul Biya alone that the region knows. He said the population is impatient to manifest their loyalty to President Paul Biya on October 12 by overwhelming voting for him.
