Kupe Muanenguba : Citizens Vote In Serenity

Despite a heavy down pour in the most part of the Division, over 40,000 Cameroonians registered on the voters list were expected to exercise their civic right in choosing their leader.

The October 12 presidential election in Cameroon has taken place in serenity in Kupe Muanenguba Division, South West Region. With over 40,000 registered voters in the three Sub divisions that make up the Division, the population went to the polls to elect the President of the Republic. 
The Senior Divisional Officer (SDO) of Kupe Muanenguba, Nguia Beina Theophile who voted in Bangem at Government Practicing School polling station, told Cameroon Tribune that the voting exercise was secured with security elements deployed in various polling stations. He said though some organisational delays were observed in some polling stations, quick measures were taken to give Cameroonians registered on the electoral list the opportunity to cast their votes.  
In Tombel, the Minister, Assistant Secretary General at the Presidency, Elung Paul Che who voted alongside other citizens, expressed satisfaction for the serenity and tranquillity that characterized the voting exercise.
