Fight Against Poliomyelitis: Door-To-Door Vaccination Intensifies

T he Minister of Public Health, Dr. Manaouda Malachie, on Thursday July 9 officially launched the second round of the national polio vaccination campaign from “La Nouvelle Destinée” orphanage in the Bangue health district. The launch also marked the start of the first Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition Ac­ tion Week (SASNIM) which ran from July 9 to July 12, 2026. The joint campaign was im­ plemented across the Littoral region and other high-priority areas nationwide.
