“Discipline remains an im portant part of school life, with punctuality, regular at tendance and good beha viour as catalyst for peaceful learning. School regulations are designed to help stu dents, staffs and teacher’s live in harmony. A major challenge for school super vision is adapting school rules to the need of the learners, while applying them in a humane manner without form of brutality. So indiscipline is caused by several factors; home education, peer influence and group pressure which can change a learner’s behaviour. In school, regular attendance and being punctual is not enough. Students are expected to stay in class throughout their lessons and also follow the school time table accordingly because we have cases where students come to school but are never regular in class. Constant supervision is necessary to monitor students’ arrival, dressing, attendance, movements and general behaviour in the school milieu. Parents also have a major role to play in building discipline. Children should first learn at home how to respect rules and know that every environment has regulations that must be followed.
