Made in Cameroon: Exhibition To Showcase Local Products

The exhibition “For Us by Us” will run from Friday October 2-3 2026 in Douala.

C ameroonian entrepreneurs, creators and innovators are set to showcase locally made pro­ ducts during the “For Us by Us” (FUS­ BUS) exhibition scheduled for Friday and Saturday October 2-3. The ini­ tiative seeks to connect entrepre­ neurs with consumers, investors and members of the Cameroonian dias­ pora. The exhibition which is spea­ rheaded by the vision bearer of “For Us by Us”, Dr Captain Edith Fongwa Gibson, is designed to provide a plat­ form where Cameroonian entrepre­ neurs can display their products, network and explore opportunities for growth. Speaking during a press conference in Douala on September 29, ahead of the event, Dr Captain Edith Fongwa Gibson explained that the initiative goes beyond a physical exhibition as it seeks to identify quality pro­ ducts made in Cameroon and create market opportunities for entrepre­ neurs, particularly among Cameroo­ nians living abroad. She said they have established a platform through which products are scouted, selected and made available to consumers. The long term vision, she added, is to facilitate the export of selected Cameroonian products to the dias­ pora, where they can be stored and distributed to customers. According to her, entrepreneurs par­ ticipating in the exhibition are ex­ pected to demonstrate the quality of their products and, where appli­ cable, possess the necessary certi­ fications and legal documents, par­ ticularly for consumable goods. The exhibition that will take place at Krystal Palace in Douala will also provide opportunities for investors, financial institutions, promoters and members of the public to interact directly with participating entrepre­ neurs.
