Gospel Music:Jubilee Praise Team Prepares New Year Launch

Theirs is not just about singing in praise of the Lord. It is to see peace reign in Cameroon by being peacemakers and praying for the country’s leadership. Jubilee Praise Team is also concerned about promoting the Cameroon Brand – the country’s diversified, beautiful cultures and culinary arts. The inter-denominational choral group on November 15, 2018 in Yaounde held its annual end-of-year-closing event, the Partners’ Banquet.

According to Nnah Faith Um, president of the group of 25 artistes from 14 denominations, the gathering was to finalise plans to launch 2019 activities on January 13 in Yaounde and celebrate God’s goodness in 2018. Similarly, it was an opportunity to felicitate partners for their support, share the group’s vision with potential partners and together relish meals from different tribes, Faith explained.   

“As a group, we have every reason to thank God for 2018. For example, the presidential election of October 7, 2018 passed off peacefully. The church has a great role to play in the New Cameroon that we announce by ensuring that peace reigns,” Um said. “The church has to make people aware that they are peacemakers.
