Sports Cooperation: Namibia To Learn From Cameroon

The Minister of Sports, Youth and National Service of Namibia paid a courtesy visit on the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education yesterday February 9, 2022.
The Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Narcisse Mouelle Kombi, granted audience to the Minister of Sports, Youth and National Service of Namibia, Honourable Emma Kantema Gaomas, yesterday February 9, 2022 in his cabinet.

Speaking at the audience, the Minister who was traveling back to Namibia said the purpose of her visit was to congratulate the Minister of Sports and Physical Education for the successful hosting of the 33rd edition of the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations. She said she was present at the closing ceremony and it was impressive. “Sports unite nations and in this case sports have really united Africa,” she said. Honourable Emma Kantema Gaomas said as the Ministry of Sport for Namibia, they wanted to see how they can strengthen relationships and learn from African brothers and sisters.
Apart from that, she explained that the visit also was a fact finding mission to investigate the possibility of Namibia to co-host AFCON 2027 together with Botswana. She said she was in Cameroon with the Minister of Sports for Botswana and they held several meetings with CAF as well as
