Essential Tips To Ensure Better Performance

With only a month to the start of the different African clubs competitions, Cameroonian representatives will have to focus on pertinent issues in order to improve on their level.

The preliminary round of 2022-2023 CAF the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup will begin in September with Coton Sport of Garoua, champions of the 2022 Cameroon Professional Football League will playing against Matlama FC of Lesotho in the preliminaries of the CAF Champions League while PWD of Bamenda, winners of the 2020 Cup of Cameroon clashes against Elgeco FC of Madagascar in the CAF Confederation Cup which takes place from September 9 to 11, 2022. Last season, the two Cameroonian representatives failed to impress. Coton Sport of Garoua was eliminated at the group stage of the Champions League and PWD of Bamenda was knocked out of CAF Confederation Cup at the preliminary rounds. Looking at the performances of the Cameroonian club it is worthwhile seeking for urgent measures to help the teams perform better than in the previous season. 

Preparation
One of the major hindrances of Cameroonian clubs is the absence of enough play time. Actually since the end of the championship Cameroonian clubs have been inactive. There is need for clubs to organise friendly matches with some top Elite One clubs and even play international friendlies in order to render the clubs more competitive and to be able to meet the standards of other foreign clubs. Coton Sport of Garoua and PWD of Bamenda will have to train hard as they prepare for the competitions. 

Sensitisation
