A majority of the Cameroonian internationals ended their club engagements over the weekend on a positive note.

Cameroon’s hopes to seduce fans at the upcoming FIFA World Cup can only be attained if the right players are put in the right places to deliver the goods. There is hope as a majority of the Cameroonian internationals continue to proof to be in top form. This weekend, a handful of them contributed greatly to the victory of their clubs in their respective championships.
Players like Jean-Pierre Nsame, Lea Siliki and Joyskm Dawa all scored for their football outfits. Jean-Pierre Nsame, for example, scored his 13th goal of the season on match day 10 of the Swiss Super League that pitted his side Young Boys against Saint Gallen on October 8, 2022. The game ended 2-1 in favour of Young boys. One of Cameroon’s group opponents at the World Cup is Switzerland and having a player like Jean-Pierre Nsame standing tall in the Swiss Super League maybe a plus to the Cameroonian team if he makes it to the Qatar expedition. Cameroon international midfielder James Lea Siliki was the hero for Estoril in their 0-1 away win over Gil Vicente in match day nine of the Portuguese top flight championship. He scored the lone goal of the encounter and was voted Man of the Match. 
Apart from scoring, other Cameroonian internationals helped to construct play to see that their clubs emerge victorious at the end. Goalkeeper Andre Onana for example made his Serie A debut in the game ...
