Improving PAD Services : Stakeholders Upgrade Skills

This was during a one-day workshop on October 21, 2022 presided at by the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Supreme State Audit Office, Mbah Acha Rose Fomundam.

Staff members of the Douala Ports Authority-PAD on October 21, 2022 improved their skills on the irregularities of damage management and responsibilities in the management of public enterprises. This is in line with the government’s commitment to improving the management of public institutions in Cameroon.
While opening the workshop in Douala, the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Supreme State Audit Office, Mbah Acha Rose Fomundam disclosed that it was important to upgrade the skills of the different vote holders and managers on the legal and regulatory instruments in managing public funds. She added that the workshop will go a long way to sensitise them on what mismanagement is all about and the sanction that awaits defaulters. To her, it will facilitate their task as far as the management of public funds is concerned so that in case of an audit there be little or no faults. Minister Mbah Acha Rose Fomundam made it clear that the vote holders should understand they must work for the benefit of society.
