MTN Elite Two : Second Round Resumes

Round two of the MTN Elite Two football championship will resume today, Tuesday, November 5, 2023 in stadium across the country. It will be the eighth playing day of the championship this season. The second phase comes on the heels of a two-week recess for all the teams. Round two of the competition will be an opportunity for teams that are still struggling to catch up with other teams while for some it will be a chance to continue with their prowess.
In Group A, Aigle of Moungo finished the first phase on top of the league table with 12 points. They were followed by Tonnerre of Yaounde 11 points and Racing Bafoussam 10 points. The battle appears to be tough as each side will be seeking for the top spot. Foncha Street of Bamenda, Yafoot of Yaounde and Renaissance of Ngoumou will have to step up their performances during this second phase in order to progress. In Group B, Djiko FC is on top with 16 points followed by Eding Sport 15 points and Dragon Yaounde 14 points. Teams like Leopard of Douala and Rangers of Bafut are yet to record a victory while AS FAP of Yaounde has only one victory.
In group A, Renaissance of Ngoumou will play against TKC of Yaounde at the Olembe Annex One Stadium in Yaounde. Unisport of Upper Nkam welcomes Racing of Bafoussam at the Bafang Municipal Stadium. North West derby between Foncha Street of Bamenda against Bafmeng United of Menchum will be played at the Bandjoun Municipal Stadium. Pool leaders Aigle of Moungo will play again...
