Judo : National Excellence Competition Tomorrow

The weekend will be full of exciting judo action. The 2023 edition of the national excellence competition will take place at the national dojo for judo in Soa, Yaounde tomorrow, December 9, 2023. Organised by the Cameroon Judo Federation, the competition will bring together athletes from across the country. The competition will unfold in the minors and cadet categories. It will be an opportunity for the young athletes to display their talents and for officials to detect talents. For the men’s competition, the categories are -24kg, -28kg, -36kg, -42kg, -46kg, -50kg, -55kg, -60kg, -66kg, +66kg. The women’s categories are -20kg, -25kg, -30kg, -35kg, -40kg, -44kg, -48kg, -52kg, -57kg, +57kg. The competition is open to athletes who are registered in FECAJUDO for the 2023 season, be holders of a licence and athletes born between 2009 and 2017.
The President of FECAJUDO, Alain Christian Kingue Dihang said preparations are going on well ahead of tomorrow’s event.
