Argentina-Cameroon : New Doors For Business

An Argentinian multisectorial trade mission is in Cameroon from December 5- 15 to open new horizons.

 

Argentinian business people on trade mission have expressed their desires to partner with the Cameroonian business community to create economic ventures that will benefit both countries. This was during a meeting with the business community in Douala on December 6, at the Cameroon Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mining and Handicrafts.
During the meeting, the Argentinian delegation made it clear that they were not only ready to import or export, but also to install in Cameroon and bring in the necessary technology to process locally. While presenting the potentials in Cameroon, the representative of the CCIMA, Frederic Djeuhon, disclosed that the country has a huge market and an array of raw materials. He said in 2020, exported goods in Argentina worth over CFA 18 billion and in 2021, the export moved up to about 25 billion. He added that collaboration between both countries has existed since 1975 and of recent the relationship has grown. As such, both countries were ready for business.
Mr. Djeuhon reminded the Argentinian mission to look for means to work with small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as very small businesses. He expressed Cameroonian business community willingness to engage in win-win partnerships.
