Fencing Cup of Cameroon : Lissouk, Kouami Champions

The finals of the fifth edition of the competition took place on Saturday August 24, 2024.


The Gymnasium 500 of the National Institute of Youth and Sports (INJS) was the venue of the finals of the fifth edition of the Cup of Cameroon in fencing on Saturday August 24, 2024. Organised by the Cameroon Fencing Federation, the competition brought together athletes from clubs across the country. It was another opportunity for Yaounde inhabitants to discover new techniques in the sport and for other young aspiring athletes to develop interest in the fencing.  The competition marked the end of the 2024 fencing season in Cameroon. 
The athletes competed in the individual senior men and women categories. For the final, eight athletes (four men and four women) took part in the competition. The athletes competed in the épée and the sabre disciplines. In the women’s category Kouami Njinang Maeva Marie Rose from Vogt Fencing Club won gold. Lillas Menguelle Ndjock from Club Petit Bambo got silver and Missouma Machia Catherine Emma equally from Club Petit Bamboo won bronze. In the men’s category, Lissouk Ngoube Joseph Daniel from Club Petit Bambou won gold. Ombala Jacke Landry from Club Colombes got silver and Enguene Karl Emmanuel from Club Vogt got bronze.
