CHAN 2025 : Intermediate Lions Perfect Skills

Shortly after the start of the training camp, the team played two friendly matches with two MTN One Elite Clubs on Saturday October 26, 2024.
The Intermediate Lions of Cameroon are fine-tuning their skills at the CAF Excellence Centre in Mbankomo ahead of the upcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier match against the Central African Republic in December. Training takes place twice daily under the supervision of the head coach Simplice Soh. The coach and the players are working out winning strategies in order to avoid any errors during the competition.
For a start, the Intermediate Lions played two friendly matches with MTN Elite One sides; APEJES of Mfou and Fauve Azure Elite on Saturday, October 26, 2024. Both matches were played at the playground of the CAF Excellence Centre in Mbankomo. In order to optimise the evaluation of his team, the coach divided the 30 players in-to two groups. One group played against APEJES and the second against Fauve Azur Elite. In the first game, the Intermediate Lions beat APEJES of Mfou 3-0. In the second game, the Intermediate Lions drew 1-1 with Fauve Azur Elite. Although there is still some fine-tuning to be done, the Intermediate Lions produced an acceptable performance against a strong APEJES of Mfou team. The coach Simplice Soh and the technical bench are bent on securing a victory against the Fauve de Bazou of Bangui, Central African Republic in a double encounter.
