U17 AFCON : Cameroon-South Africa Today

The cadet Lions are expected to bounce back in their second group B game at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca.
The 1-2 defeat against Burkina Faso during their first game on Monday March 31, 2025 was a bitter pill for the U17 Lions of Cameroon to swallow. This notwithstanding, the U17 Lions have put their past behind and focus is now on their second game against the Amajimbos of South Africa today April 3, 2025. In this light, the U17 Lions are stepping up strategies in order to correct the errors of the first match. The head coach, Saidou Alioum and the players are working out strategies in order to ensure an honourable performance in the remaining group matches. The Lions had their last training session yesterday April 2, 2025 at the Nuria 2 Stadium on the road to Mohamedia some 30km at 2 :00 pm local time. This was followed by a health checkup session at about 9:00 p.m. The objective is to win the next game and secure hopes of staying in the competition. The day ended with a video analysis supervised by the entire technical staff.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has suspended pre-match conferences and they will only resume during the quarterfinals stage. CAF has therefore instructed teams to give three players for interviews to journalists during their training sessions.
It should be said that Burkina Faso and South Africa top the group with three points each. The teams are separated by goal difference. A total of 16 teams...
