2025 FENASSCO League B Games : Far North Region Emerges Champion

The clinched 13 gold, seven silver and 10 bronze medals in the competition that concluded on Thursday April 17, 2025 in Limbe.

After five days of competition in 12 disciplines like football, handball, volleyball, among others, team Far North Region emerged first on the general medal classification table of the 18th National FENASSACO League B Games in Limbe. The delegation earned 13 gold, seven silver and 10 bronze medals. The Centre Region came second with 12 gold, nine silver and four bronze medals. Centre Region who was leading the provisional medal table was over taken by the Far North Region. Team East Region came third with nine gold, 11 silver and 11 bronze medals. 
Prior to the closing ceremony at the legendary Limbe Centenary Stadium on Thursday April 17, 2025, the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Basic Education, Dr. Asheri Kilo Fofung, chaired medal award ceremony for all disciplines at the Limbe Community Field. 
The closing ceremony on Thursday at the Limbe Centenary Stadium with a nearly 2 000 full capacity saw a hotly contested male football match. Team South West humbled their counterparts from the East Region by 2 goals to zero. 
The Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Prof. Narcisse Mouelle Kombi, chaired the closing ceremony attended by South West Governor – Bernard Okalia Bilai, basic education and sport and physical education hierarchies among others. The games held on the theme, “Basic school sports, a bedrock for living together in peace and unity for an Emerging Cameroon.” Prof. Mouelle Kombi stated that the educational, social and sporting objectives of this competition have been largely achieved.
