With less than a month until the highly anticipated kick-off, the Cameroon Cycling Federation (FECACYCLING) is in high gear, conducting a series of crucial preparatory meetings to ensure the resounding success of the 2025 International Cycling Tour of Cameroon. The federation’s focus is on delivering a successful event with meticulous athlete preparation and strong administrative strategies. Delegations from across the globe are expected to begin arriving in Cameroon from May 30, 2025. The vibrant team presentation ceremony is scheduled for June 3, 2025, in Maroua, setting the stage for the ten-lap competition. The first lap will officially commence on June 4, 2025, with a challenging circuit starting and finishing in Maroua, taking riders through Mora.
With all these already at the corner, the President of the Cameroon Cycling Federation, Honoré Yossi, has issued a strong call to action to his team, emphasizing the need for "availability, determination, and meticulousness" in all aspects of the preparations. This directive was delivered during the second preparatory meeting held on April 30, 2025, at the federation's headquarters in Yaounde.
