Africa Sambo Championship : Cameroon Intensifies Preparations

The 2025 edition of the African Sambo Championship will take place at the 28 September Stadium in Conakry, Guinea from May 23 to 26, 2025. Ahead of the competition, some 20 athletes are fine-tuning skills in Yaounde. The training camp comes after an external camp that ended in Yaounde recently. 
The athletes are training under the supervision of the national team coach, Seidou Nji Mouluh. It should be said that Seidou Nji Mouluh was recently appointed in this position. Hence, he will be taking part in the upcoming competition in two caps; as coach and as an athlete. He is two-time world champion in sambo combat. Seidou Nji Mouluh won gold for Cameroon during the World Sambo Championship in 2023 and in 2020 in the -100kg category. He is also several times medalist at the African championship. Recently, he won a professional fight in Russia which according to him serves as preparation for the upcoming African Sambo Championship.
