AfroBasket Women 2025 : Cameroon Reveals Final List

Some 15 players have been shortlisted to defend the country in the competition that will kick off in Côte d’Ivoire on July 25, 2025.

The 27th edition of the Women’s AfroBasket championship will take place in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire from July 25 to August 3, 2025. Ahead of the competition, preparations have intensified in the country. The head coach of the senior women’s basketball team, Ahmed Mbombo Noya has published a list of 15 players who will defend the colours of the country in Côte d’Ivoire. They are Jessica Thomas, Monique Makani, Joelly Beleka, Josiane Tchemeleu, Singo Lekeuneu, Dulcy Fankam, Marguerite Effa, Kelya Kipo, Cynthia Williams, Maeva Mfonow, Damaris Emedie, Marina Ewodo, Emmanuel Tahane, Carine N. Silatsa and Ekak Semah.
Sources close to the Cameroon Basketball Federation (FECABASKET) say the team will begin their final training in Türkiye tomorrow July 4, 2025 as part of preparations for the 2025 Women Afrobasket.
