Union of the Peoples of Cameroon (UPC) : In Alliance With Paul Biya

The nationalist political party in Cameroon which is the oldest political party in the country and having played a significant role in the country's struggle for independence from French rule has unfortunately experienced wrangling in recent years. As the October 2025 Presidential election approaches, the faction of the Robert Bapoh Lipot note that they do not have a candidate for the election. Officials of the faction state that they are in an alliance with President Paul Biya of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement, as concerns the Presidential election.
