Supreme Audit Institutions : Libya Appreciates Cameroon’s Partnership

The Charge d’Affaires of the Libyan Embassy in Yaounde, Belaid Jaboa has expressed appreciation to Cameroon for having hosted the 59th Executive Board meeting of the African Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (AFROSAI) in February 2024. The said meeting was supposed to be hosted by Libya but due to the challenging situation in the country, Cameroon which then led the Secretariat General, organised the event on her behalf. It was chaired by the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of the Supreme State Audit Office, Mbah Acha Rose. The Chargé d’Affaires of the Libyan Embassy was thus meeting the Minister to express his gratitude for the partnership with Cameroon to that effect. 
Speaking to the press through an interpreter, the diplomat said he came to thank the Minister for the important role she played, both at hosting of the Executive Board meeting and the assistance for the organisation of the General Assembly of AFROSAI. “Libya has gone through difficult times but the efforts of the Minister helped in convincing the other delegations to come and participate in the General Assembly. And of course Libya succeeded in the organisation and occupies the presidency of this General Assembly.  I thank the Minister for the efforts, she was very close to us for the organisation of this General Assembly,” he said.
