Semences Olympique Tournament : Anafoot, Maroua Sports Lift Trophies

It was a festive atmosphere at the Yaounde Omnisports Annex Stadium 1 on Saturday July 19, 2025. The event was the 20th edition of the Semences Olympiques championship. Organised by the Semences Olympiques Football Training Centre (CFFSO), the event brought together 14 teams from across the country. Last Saturday’s training Centre equally marked the 25th edition of the Semences Olympiques Football Training Centre. The competition unfolded in the U8, U10, U12, U15 and U17 categories. For one week, the children displayed rich talents in football. It was equally an opportunity for football experts to detect young talents. As early as 8:00 a.m., football lovers and sympathizers of CFFSO thronged the stadium to watch the finals and also to encourage the children.
In the U17 final match, ANAFOOT Football Training Centre beat Semences Olympiques Football Training Centre 2-1 in an exciting encounter that kept fans on their feet shouting at the top of their voices and cheering the players. The two sides put up exceptional performances but no side was able to make a difference during the first 45 minutes. ANAFOOT’s goals were scored by Moupo Carle and Manga Serge. Earlier, Maroua Sports Academy thrashed Semences Olympiques Football Academy 4-0 to lift the trophy. What was particular is that Semences Olympiques Football Training Centre presented two teams in the finals (U15 and U17 categories).
