Afowiri Fondzenyuy, the Toghu Marathoner.
You are known for doing marathons, but not like other people. What made you to go for such marathons?
I started marathons at the age of 40, and I'm now 53. In the beginning I did triathlons - swimming, running and biking. But swimming became a little bit difficult, so I moved on to marathon. If the pilot is successful, then we will replicate it across the country. For now, the autism centre, worth 50 million FCFA, will be sponsored from personal funds. But we hope to get local partners and perhaps, government support. Our biggest challenge now is getting land for the project.
The autism centre will be an environment where when kids come in, they will like to come to school everyday. Everything will be in...
