Bamenda : Authorities Join CPDM Members To Celebrate

President Paul Biya has invited to pay his first visit in the just-started term of office to Bamenda, capital of the North West Region.

North West Regional Governor Adolphe Lele Lafrique at the head of regional dignitaries on November 6, 2025 joined the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM) members of the Mezam IA, 1B and 1C Sections all of Bamenda city to watch President Paul Biya take the oath-of office to begin a new term of office as the President of the Republic, Head of State for the next seven years.
The ceremony took place at the jammed-parked hall and premises of the Bamenda 1 Council at Up station in Bamenda. It was not really a speech-making ceremony as everyone was keen to see President Biya take the oath- of office and listen to his inaugural message that outlined the key issues he plans to do for the next seven years to ensure peace and security, and better the living conditions of the population. Despite this, Governor Lele Lafrique reacted to the President Paul Biya’s speech and sent across a message to the population of the North West Region. “I will like to on behalf of the population of the North West Region who massively voted the Head of State to congratulate him for his re-election at the helm of this country.
